  ​ ​I was born 1975 in Houston, TX; raised here in Opelousas, LA; resident of Lawtell, LA for 15 years. I am married to Monica Standberry from Lawtell, and have two boys; Theon, Jr and Malik.

​I ​am a self-taught artist. Art is my passion and my life. I became an Artist at a very young age, leading me to winning several artist contests in elementary school. From sketching in pencil or pastel, I graduated to painting and then to airbrushing. Having a deep love for Art, I choose a profession on which I could utilize my artistic skills and in 2006 I graduated from TH Harris of Opelousas as a Draftsman. In 2009, I completed several house plans and began learning how to tattoo. Still today, Art captures my attention where ever I go therefore, it is important to me that I continue to educate myself on new techniques as I strive for excellence with my Art. I use many styles and techniques as I create paintings of different subject matters. I grew up watching Bob Ross, Walter Foster, Alexander and many other artist that painted on LPB (a learning TV station). These artist mostly painted wet-on-wet technique because of the short time line they had to work with. When I got a little older I realized that wet-on-wet technique isn't the only way to paint. My curiosity grew as I discovered new styles and techniques that was out there in the world. So now at the age of 38, I have no one way about painting a picture. I have no one style or subject matter that I paint. I love to paint any and everything, using many different techniques. I should say, whatever works to my liking then that is what I will do to create my paintings.
